p e r s o n a l i t y Stoic, observant, and calm - these traits are quite commonly displayed by Deia, being a spirit of an animal known to humans as the embodiment of a messenger. Of what and why, no one truly knows, but this spirit carries a lot of wisdom despite the indifferent attitude seen from Deia. However, the animal spirit is very possessive of everything, particularly other cherished spirits. Deia holds humans in the lowest regards, comparing them to the detritus of the world and considered egotistical or arrogant as the spirit refers to itself in the third-person. Deia only cares for the well-being of other spirits and will become aggressive to any human that upsets the spiritual balance of the world, particularly Seaside. h i s t o r y Since for as long as the spirit could remember, Deia has been a presence from one point of the world to another, tasked with finding lost souls. Of what becomes of these souls are of no one's knowledge - not even to the raven spirit - and human thus deemed ravens as messengers of death and destruction. It is a shame to carry such an association to an entity like death itself, but Deia only does the deed of leading human souls to the afterlife or warning them of impending doom. Deia doesn't enjoy it, yet it must be done to keep other spirits from consuming mundus and vice versa; it only leads to a destruction even a lowly animal spirit cannot fathom. Recently, there had been a plethora of activity residing to the west. Then, it held no recognisable name, but today it's called Seaside. Deia did not know why such a place would exudes such energies, but decades of being a spirit told Deia to be there. Thus, the spirit did, arriving just when the first settlers claimed the land for Seaside. "three things cannot be forgotten: the sun, moon and the truth." |
