Charlie is handsome in the simplest of ways. In fact, there are few times when he actually goes above and beyond when it comes to his appearance. The man mostly just dresses for the weather and to suit his mood in the morning. That being said, all of his clothing is high dollar. His mother would freak if she saw him in something from Wal-Mart.

Perhaps the most noticeable things about Charlie are his perfect smile and his lively emerald eyes, working hand in hand to make people swoon. His skin is fair and virtually flawless, though he does have a few scars on his arms. The man is quite tall, though he isn't all that spindly; he works hard at keeping the inn in good shape, and in turn the inn keeps him in good shape. 

Charlie will occasionally accessorize his outfits with one of his favorite beanies or his glasses, though he usually opts to go hatless and wear contacts. His father has been promising corrective eye surgery for years, though the man secretly has a love for his flaws.

Charles is a very handy individual who is as practical as they come. His practicality has led him to being quite straightforward and always willing to get the job done, no matter what the job may be. Despite his can-do attitude and serious nature, it's not uncommon to see a very happy and outgoing Charlie while out on the streets. He's generally a very cheerful person who likes to extend kindness unto others in hopes that they will extend said kindness back unto him. The man cares very deeply about the community of Seaside and would do anything to help a fellow citizen out. Literally anything.

The Sinclair family has members that are all basically identical in personality, Charles inhabiting most of the good and the bad traits. Though he is ever helpful and kind, there is a darkness that looms under the surface. This darkness is something that puts the man on edge, though he doesn't know how to be rid of it. He is a very paranoid person who is closely tied to the supernatural, though he didn't wish it to be this way. He always feels like there's someone out to get him and is prone to having anxiety attacks.

Charlie is also a very dishonest and two-faced person, though he really doesn't try to be. He's been known to lie through his teeth about various things, lies of varying severity. He has secrets that he feels he needs to hide and he will do so by distancing himself from others, if only to be sweet to their faces. He has a nasty habit of 'forgetting' dates, always having an extra excuse in his pocket and plenty of money in his pocketbook. Though the man doesn't always seem to be shady, he really is a shady guy.

From the start Little Charles was destined to be the heir of a great and expansive estate located in Seaside, WA. This fate was sealed when his parents failed to produce another child, but they had no worries about Charlie escaping them once Bellesong's traffic picked up. There would be no reason for their son to leave his estate behind. He could marry inside the town and produce more children with a local, as he should.

The boy grew up feeling quite distant from his parents, which slowly built inside him until he came to the point where he really couldn't have cared less if they perished or not. Of course, these thoughts didn't happen until much later in Charles' life. He grew up as a relatively happy kid, always having the newest toys and the slickest kicks. He was the envy of all the boys in school, the fantasy of all the girls. Life could have been pretty swell, but Charles learned that people would only like him if he smiled. So that's exactly what he did.

The boy learned that he didn't have to be genuine, though others didn't like it when he was his true self. He wasn't allowed to appreciate the things that society had deemed inappropriate and, living in such a small town, everyone knew how strange the boy was. He began to seclude his natural persona to put on a show for everyone else, going through life wearing a mask that was altogether charming and sweet. People wondered why he refused to date any of the girls he went to school with, spreading rumors that Charlie thought he was too good for any of the locals. When word of this got to the boy's father, he was instructed that he had to get a girlfriend lest he want to be kicked from the town.

Though the man wouldn't have cared, he went with his father's will and started dating a girl. Thing is, the girl wasn't actually a human -- she was a spirit. A spirit that had long since passed, a person who helped the boy to learn of his family's dark history. She told him of what had happened at the inn and, after much convincing, she got Charles to take it over with his father's position. There were spirits who had been trapped inside the inn by Charles' father and, with the girl's help, Charles was able to release them.

From then forward he and the girl pretended to date while his father went about his business. Charles learned to take care of the inn and decided to go to school for business, if only to keep the inn going steady. He's been known to invite paranormal investigators into the inn and have his girlfriend scare them off, mostly because she enjoyed doing so and because it gave her provided her with good money. She's now trying to help Charles' relieve his family debts to local spirits and set things right, all the while pretending to date him just to appease his father.
