A friend to nature and everything else within the order of the natural world, Deia isn't a spirit that active seeks out friendships. The raven spirit is naturally more at ease around other spirits, but doesn't consider any of them a "friend" like humans do. Instead, the spirit is rather an associate with most, if not all. Of course, Deia is considered old-fashion, choosing the high ground with like-minded spirits who refrain from actively mingling with the human population. 

Only a few who lived as long as the raven spirit know what Deia likes: slow jazz, dinner gatherings, and respect to order.

Love doesn't translate well to this particular spirit than what humans or benevolent spirits are familiar with. Deia is obsessive with the well-being of other spirits, constantly chastising them for their actions or influence with mortals. In fact, the raven frowns upon the relationship between humans and spirits, considering that the two should be separated. So, the spirit's love rests in nature and those whom reside in the spiritual plane - Deia just has an unusual way to show it; much like a very stern father figure.

Hate breeds demons and Deia doesn't wish to become a demon, despite the lack of respect the spirit gives to the humans. However, the raven takes in consideration how diverse humanity is and tries to judge on an individual basis than a entire race. Not many spirits know that hate for spirits have greater consequences to themselves and the realm they reside within, since simple emotions are far greater than those of humans. Yet, the temptation for the raven spirit still exists; dismayed by certain spirits lack of control or buried anger for humans who disrespect the spiritual balance.
