[HUMAN] CUNNINGHAM, kirby

at first glance, any one would peg this young man as a delinquent. his childlike face and small stature make it hard for anyone to believe that he's older than seventeen years old. his unkempt brown hair is usually always in his face, just on the verge of covering his hazel eyes, although sometimes he cares enough to attempt to tame it underneath a beanie or a flat billed snap back hat. his clothing is always on the casual side, choosing to wear skinny jeans with a t-shirt that is usually always donned with a flannel or jacket. 

positive : 

• charismatic : before you really get to know him, kirby seems like an almost decent fellow. depending on who he's with his personality changes, much like a chameleon blends in with its environment. he'll talk to anyone about anything, making friends wherever he can.
• fun-loving : probably the most well-known thing about this rambunctious young man is his love for anything fun. he's always down for just about anything, especially if it's something that has to do with him causing trouble. he likes living his life a little on the wild side. 
• laid-back : one of the best things about him is definitely how laid back he is. things don't easily offend him, and stress definitely isn't something he often has to worry about. he's fairly open-minded, making it quite easy for others to get along with him, without worrying about any sort of judgement from the peanut gallery.
• honest : considering that this is kirby we're talking about, i'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing. often times when he's honest, it hits people like a brick house and a swift punch to the gut, since most of the things he says are usually negative. 

negative : 

• cocky : whether or not anyone actually thinks he's cool; he knows he's cool. there is no one else on this planet that is as cool as he is - or attractive for that matter. anything you can do, he can do better. he thinks very highly of himself, and as hard as he tries to hide it, it always has a way of slipping through the wood work. 
• insensitive : more often than not, kirby comes off as insensitive, and this may even go hand-in-hand with his brutal honesty, since a lot of people can't seem to handle the truth. regardless of whether or not this is true, kirby just doesn't really seem to take other people's feelings into consideration, and it isn't rare for him to not feel a twinge of guilt about it either.
• rowdy : being loud and always trying to cause trouble is definitely something he's good at. he's often the type of guy to shout something negative from his car window as he's speeding past, or trying to start fights with people that are ten times his size just because he feels he has something to prove. 
• manipulative : when he wants something, he'll do whatever it takes to get it, whether it means playing with someone's emotions. he's very good at reading people, and often knows just what it takes to break them down and get what he wants. 
• immature : it seems like his mind didn't age past that of a twelve year-old. he still often makes fart jokes and thinks the word poop is hysterical. he's the type of person to make a joke and laugh at it, no matter how terrible it is. i guess he figures since everyone who looks at him thinks he's a child, he might as well continue to act like one.
• flirtatious : normally this wouldn't be such a bad thing, but considering who we have on our hands, it can be quite the struggle. just because he does it, doesn't mean he's necessarily good at it. often times he comes off as too strong, and most times no one takes him seriously, but that doesn't stop him from trying. 

born and raised in the windy city also known as chicago, to a loving and rather well off family. his father a remarkable lawyer, bringing in so much money that his father was lucky enough to be a stay at home mother. their one and only child got everything and anything he needed - and wanted. 

fast forward through his relatively normal and boring childhood to his 18th birthday. it was this day that his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. this seemed to flip a switch in the young man. kirby realized that life was too short, and tomorrow was never guaranteed. he started staying out late, and getting wrapped up in the wrong crowd at school.

one night kirby was brought home by the cops, smelling horribly of alcohol. thankfully for him, his father was a well loved lawyer, and easily blamed his son's crime on his mother's sickness. it was the final straw. with everything going on at home with his mother's treatment and his now horrible behavior and lack of morals, his father uprooted the family. he hoped that his decision would save both his loving wife and delinquent of a son.

kirby found himself in seaside, washington. a few years passed and his mother recovered from her cancer, but kirby's actions failed to change. at least his father could feel like he at least saved one of them.
