[WIP] SPIRIT, the nine-tailed fox

as he finds his natural state to be deeming for the role he has entitled to himself, kumiho will rarely be seen as anything else than a fox. he can be described as an imposing creature, if not intimidating, as he reaches a whopping height total of six feet and two inches while merely standing on all fours. kumiho is big boned, due to such he retains a strong muscle structure that, while it may be appealing to some, it may also come off as unnatural to others.

aesthetically speaking, kumiho is quite the sight. the fox spirit harbors layers upon layers of thin, pure white fur that stands in soft spikes along his joints, including his head and back. Also, a long mane embellishes his neck and chest in what he thinks to be a proud display of his age and experience. kumiho’s nine tails are his most prominent feature as they’re much longer than his body and move in waves behind him.

in his human form, kumiho resembles that of a cross between a beautiful woman and man. he has the delicate features of a woman mixed in perfectly with those that make a strong male. upon transformation, the fox fur is traded for long white hair and a fair complexion. his height and red eyes remain the same.

kumiho wears clothers that are heavily layered in accessories and furs. however, if none are to be present he doesn’t mind wearing something simple for a period of time.

for the most part, kumiho is a passive creature who enjoys observing rather than engaging. he’s the well-mannered sort, frequently speaking with formality and is rarely one to be disrespectful to others. however, if he feels threatened in any way, he has a bad tendency of becoming defensive and hasty -- jumping to conclusions before assessing the real issue at hand.

kumiho is not always all what he seems. besides his good manners and pacifistic tendencies, the fox is sly and often lies to manipulate those around him to achieve self-interest. he can at times be the epitome of neutral grounds when it comes to matters of the heart and mind, as he enjoys playing vague towards others. call it regret, kumiho enjoys hearing stories and histories from the mouths of others more than he enjoys reciting his own tales.

being lazy means helping is not one of his biggest perks. though, curiosity can move him to do things just as well as showmanship (he loves to flaunt). what kumiho does or doesn’t do in this time is up to how he views the situation, which can at times be rather warped.

he takes prides in everything that he believes himself to be: resilient, beautiful, and most of all, powerful, among other things. his beliefs are strong, and those who question them are not tolerated unless proved to be a formidable catch.

despite all the black and grey, kumiho can be nurturing and even caring depending on circumstance, which does not heavily require the love and acceptance of someone else. he simply is, and will be, because he chooses to be so and believes that sometimes a kind gesture is all what is needed.
