agatha "aggie" black |
173 | spirit (cat) | female | demisexual | freeloader a p p e a r a n c e dark lashes shield dark eyes, filled with mystery. skin rich, creamy, pale, not to mention smooth as silk. hair is also similar to silk in texture, black in some light, violet in others. it's usually adorned with a bow or a flower, just for a little added femininity. when it comes to apparel, agatha prefers to wear black. all black, maybe a few white accents. if anything, her style can be described as antique, gothic if you will. she's not above dressing like maid, either. in her semi-human form, the girl simply sprouts a long, black cat tail and some glossy black cat ears. her eyes also turn a vivid green. in her natural form, agatha is a regular looking black cat. the her most notable feature is a collar she wears, purple with a small bell attached. it's ever present. p e r s o n a l i t y When someone meets Agatha, they usually realize that they're in for a bad time from the get go. Her bark is certainly worse than her bite, though she'll try to clamp down as hard as she can with her sharp tongue. She's incredibly rude and condescending to most people, especially humans. She tends to be extremely sarcastic and thoroughly enjoys teasing others, if only just to get a rise out of them. As if this wasn't bad enough, the cat is also extremely lazy and tends to mooch off of those who can somehow stand her cranky arse. Aggie is stubborn to a fault, always beliving that she is right and others are wrong. It's nearly impossible to get her to see her own faults, as she's a rather callous spirit who prefers to abide by her own rules. She's incredibly selfish and doesn't really care much for the fate of others, but when it comes to her own life she'd like it to be as comfy as possible. Once someone manages to have an effect on Agatha, they'll get to see a slightly less awful person. There is certainly nothing about her that is warm or kind, though she is a very intelligent person who carries a lot of information with her. She's a great listener (when you can convince her to care) and she is rather wise, so seeking her counsel can be a great thing. She's had many years of experience and this shows through in the way she conducts herself. She is a very reliable and trustworthy person, provided she feels like she owes it to someone. She's also very honest, which is partially why she's so sarcastic and rude. You don't have to worry about her sugarcoating anything, period. Once she's grown fond of someone's perseverance, they'll have earned a loyal friend for life. A grumpy old friend, but a friend no less. With Agatha, it's all about proving your worth. Make it clear that you're worth her time and she'll be willing to lend you some. h i s t o r y Truth be told, Agatha wasn't born like a normal cat. No, as fate would have it, she was brought about at approximately the same time a little girl fell ill. The spirit remained in her cat form for the first portion of her life, growing with three other kittens until she was adopted by a family with a sick daughter. The girl couldn't play with other children, so her parents decided to get her a pet. She bestowed upon the cat the name Agatha, which made the cat sick to its stomach, but it wasn't about to turn down a cozy life babysitting a child. There were late nights when the child would sit up in bed and gaze out the window with an emotionless expression, simply taking it all in with her eyes. The cat would sit there and watch the child with its bright green eyes, waiting for it to say something, or at least cough. Eventually the curiosity grew too strong and the cat spirit finally got around to utilizing its human form, which was definitely enough to wipe the glazed look from the child's face. Instead of freaking out and telling her parents, the child thought of Agatha as being her very best friend. She warned the cat spirit not to come out unless they were alone, as something like this would be frowned upon in the area. Her parents wouldn't just see her as being sick, they would see her as being crazy. Agatha reluctantly agreed and kept the child company, though she could sense the death that was approaching her. Death finally claimed the child on a cold, snowy winter's day. It was this day that the parents mourned and Agatha left the house, seeing it fit that she go somewhere else and do something with her life. She ended up catching a train out to Washington, filling a position as a nanny. This job didn't last long (the children were brats, and she was "too old for this shit") and the cat spirit was left on her own once more. She hadn't the energy to search for another job, so she reverted to her old self and took up her cat form, mooching from families who would feed a stray. There was a family who adopted her and took them with her when they moved, which is how she got to Seaside. From the start, her intuition told her that this wasn't like any other town she'd been in before. There were many others who were like her, many more who were similar; this town had spirit, literally and metaphorically. Agatha decided that she could finally let loose and began to just hang out in the area, talking with others, making friends. All was going well until Bellesong opened, which didn't sit well with the cat spirit. All of the feelings she'd kept hidden over the years were quickly released upon the college students in the form of pranks and hauntings, which made the cat realize that teasing people was actually really fun. She persists to this day. "Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol’ days." |
