Seaside has a vast variety of positions that need to be filled in order to work effectively. Though these roles may not necessarily be plot-centric (at least, not yet) they can help get ideas flowing! If you have an idea for something I've missed, shoot me a PM! |
 | mayor of seaside m/f/nb - human or spirit - 35+ this person is well aware of the state of the city in terms of population, though they aren't quite sure why things seem to continuously going down hill. they have close ties to many of the older spirits and like to ask them for advice. |
 | the innkeeper male - 22 - human - Charles Sinclair there are many secrets that are hidden within the inn, managed by an old family that has flourished in seaside. there were spirits who were basically enslaved by the former owner, but his son isn't about to let him get away with it. he's pro free spirits. |
| chief of police m/f/nb - human - 30+ this chief isn't the type to sit around and eat donuts all day. they're a very helpful person, if a little gruff. how long they've been in this position and why they'ret here is totally up to you. ever since the university came to town, they've been quite busy. |
| head doctor m/f/nb - human - 28+ though they haven't been in the medical profession for that long, this person has an air about them that demands attention. they are able to keep the medical floors running as smoothly as possible given their conditions. |
| university president m/f/nb - human - 25+ in charge of keeping the students in line, this person has a pretty easy job. the hardest thing about their position is signing a whole bunch of papers, as there are other positions within the university that assist the president with everything else. |
| guardian of the ocean reserved by fergie an ancient spirit that watches over the ocean and all of the sub-spirits that live within it. a very pensive being that goes with the flow of things. probably not the most sociable, but not necessarily hostile either. |
 | guardian of the forest agender - stag spirit - ancient - Behemoth an ancient spirit that watches over the forest, along with the government of the united states. they have a nasty habit of spooking visitors, as there's always the possibility of someone having ill intent. they also enjoy spying on others. |
 | spirit of winter female - sheep spirit - 100's+ - noël a chilly spirit that would rather see snow than greenery. though they aren't the cause of winter, they are something that helps the season to be enjoyable in seaside. they are closely connected with the other seasonal spirits. |
 | spirit of spring bigender - spirit - 100+ - Harumi a spirit who is obsessed with flowers and beauty. though they aren't the cause of spring, they help the flowers to bloom and be beautiful! spring is very closely grouped with the other seasonal spirits. |
| spirit of summer m/f/nb - spirit - any age warm and sunny, to say the least. summer is probably the most welcome seasonal spirit. though they aren't the cause of summer, they help the grass to green and everyone to have a super duper great bbq. closely grouped with seasonal spirits. |
 | spirit of fall male - wind spirit - 100+ - Akie a little distant and whimsical is fall, who does little more than helping the leaves turn colors. fall is a fan of the arts and thus the university students. there is little fall wouldn't do to make a new friend, aside from the other seasonal spirits. |
 | lucky spirit male - spirit - forever 22 - Rhys O'Connor a very happy spirit who causes good luck in their wake. those they dislike tend to have very bad luck, so it's better to stay on this one's good side. they've never meant to harm anyone, they just get a little carried away at times. in favor of a casino. |
| malevolent spirit reserved for cyberlance a very restless spirit who likes to cause trouble. they're always up to something. doesn't get along very well with the chief of police, but really doesn't like the spirits that can actually stop him. can be as awful as you like. |
 | tricky spirit male - crow spirit - 150+ - Tristan Cardonza though they don't really mean to cause harm, this spirit likes to play games. lots of games. all sorts of games. they also like to trick people into doing their work! they're particularly lazy, though incredibly intelligent. |
