twenty-one | human | female | heterosexual | student+florist a p p e a r a n c e lynn is about as typical as a human can be. there's not much she will not wear. she lacks a style and generally buys anything she deems cute or comfortable, even if it means it is from a thrift store, or even a high-end clothing store. she's not picky, to say the least. if ever there is anything special about her wardrobe or outfit, it will be described in her threads. her hair hasn't changed in years, however. she keeps it relatively short, with a couple wispy bits to frame her face that are longer than the rest of her hair. her bangs are choppy and spread across her forehead. her hair is soft, yet thin, much to her dismay. it doesn't cooperate with her so she keeps it as low-maintenance as possible. lynn's eyes are green, like her mothers, and her hair is a natural strawberry blonde. she is shorter than average for a female and weighs about as much as she looks. she lacks any true curves, her bust is small and her hips look like they'd break if she were to bear a child. but that is the least of her concerns, so she makes due with what she was given. p e r s o n a l i t y lynn is kind enough, sometimes. she is delicate and polite, never seeming to say or do anything too outrageous or that would land her in hot water. she hates confrontations and equally hates being put in the spotlight. she'd never make it as an actress, or a singer, though she enjoys doing the latter if no one is watching. her parents push her to take her singing to the next level, but she is too humble to do so. there are others who want the opportunity more than she does, and so she would selflessly give away her chance to let someone else obtain their dreams. she lives life on the safe side. there has only ever been one time where she did something crazy, and it was when she was just a child. it was an experience that shaped who she is today, for the worse. she'd rather not relive that moment, and so she may seem a bit guarded when meeting others. despite being a hopeless romantic and wanting to fall madly in love, she keeps her heart locked tight and she is always on edge with the opposite sex. truth be told, lynn prefers to be alone than to wonder if she is making someone else happy. it'd break her heart if she knew she was causing someone pain or discomfort. she's generally very motherly and hospitable, if you can get that close to her. h i s t o r y born and raised into a pretty prosperous family, anita lynn nordstroem (or lynn, as she prefers to be called) has known luxury her entire life. she wasn't one to flaunt it that often, nor did she think she deserved better things because of it, but her parents did and that made all the difference. she grew up going to prestigious schools and was given the best education available. it was hard to find a place to fit in among the other children, since she was so simple-minded and honestly didn't want to be there. she often felt alone, and she often was alone. but when she met him, it was the best, and yet worst moment of her life. a lonely girl, only around twelve, struggled to fit in with the other girls. boys wouldn't look at her like they did the other girls. she'd oftentimes sit alone with a book, reading by the fence that blocked her beautiful school from the outside world. secluded, with trees all around, it made the loneliness ever more present. but a boy appeared, as if from thin air, and kept her company. he didn't seem to mind her silence, or her awkwardness at first. he too had been searching for someone to talk to as well. but her classmates started to tease her. before, she was ignored and no one gave her a second glance. but when she met this boy, suddenly all eyes were on her. they called her a freak, told her to stop talking to herself. she didn't belong. she was loony, and needed to go somewhere else. she didn't understand why nobody believed her when she said she saw a boy. that was her first encounter with a spirit. he was a spirit that had not yet passed on, and their bond allowed only her to see him. she realized it years later, when it was too late. he had been her dear friend for so long, but the teasing never stopped. she said terrible things to him. mean things, things she could never take back. she never saw him again, even though she'd wait by the fence for so long. she eventually moved on, broken hearted and angry at herself for hurting the only person who had ever truly cared. she eventually graduated from high school, and was given an opportunity to start anew in the city of seaside, under one condition. her parents were paying for it all, and they wanted her to persue a career as a performer. a singer. it was a chance to start over, and so she reluctantly went. she enjoys the freedom from time to time, and she has found her own hobbies and has even made a few friends from this new experience, but in her heart, that memory still lingers and she wonders if she'll ever see him again.
