23 | spirit | female | pansexual | student a p p e a r a n c e Being a spirit, she looks the same in her human form as she was when she was alive. Bright golden eyes and long caramel locks of her. She usually does her research on the latest trends, so she likes keeping herself being a spirit a secret. In her semi human for the only difference is that her hair is white, that her eyes are more bright gold in color. Though in this form, due to the way she died. She's more she retains the ability to be aware of the emotions and thoughts of those around her, it's very glitchy but if it's a dark emotion, like sadness, fear, suicidal thoughts it's always heard loud and clear to her. In her natural form, she looks the same as she did as a human, except she has has a dark ring around her neck, her eyes are glazed over. p e r s o n a l i t y Positive: Playful, Outgoing, Confident, Optimistic, Friendly, Well-mannered, Intelligent, Honest, Natural born leader, Hard Worker, Romantic, Adventurous Negative: Stubborn, Easy to set off, nasty temper, Blunt, Arrogant, Spaces out, Impulsive, Impatient, Indecisive, Overemotional, Touchy, Cold-hearted when she gets upset, Reckless, Alpha complex, Dauntless Sydney is a very sweet girl. She always has an optimistic mindset, well even when she doesn't she will fake it. She doesn't want anyone else worrying about her. She's very playful for the most part. Has a streak of confidence in her walk. And loves to meet and talk to people. She's one of those people who can talk to just about anyone, walk up and strike some sort of conversation. She also loves adventure. So her love for the mysterious definitely comes up with this trait of hers. Though when she gets upset, her happy go lucky demeanor turns cold pretty fast. It's a defense mechanism and she acts incredibly cold and will hurt someone with her words if it comes down to protecting herself. Any talk of suicide will automatically set her temper off, for obvious reasons if you were to know her history. She doesn't want anyone to do what she did. h i s t o r y Sydney didn't grow up very happily, though she tried to stay happy. Her parents always fought, her mother and father always cheating on each other, leaving poor Sydney to fend for herself. She had it rough. Yet she tried to smile anyway. She tried to be happy. She tried to keep the household going. She wanted to look forward to life, to have a more optimistic sense of life. Her grandmother was her ray of hope. She loved her dearly, She would always walk down to her house, and spend most of her time with the elderly woman. She really had no friends in school due to her hardships. But her grandmother was always there. She appreciated that. Her grandmother wasn't blind to what was going on that her parents were only getting worse. One day, her parents finally split up. This should have been a relief. But she ended up with her mother at 15 years old, and she only got worse. Even as the years past Sydney still stayed. Hoping she could salvage a relationship with her mother, hoping it would be better. Though her mother began verbally abusing her, and the physical abuse started. Yet she still tried to stay optimistic, in hopes things would be better. Stayed, being her mother's house maid almost while her mother went out got drunk and did drugs constantly. When she visit her grandmother one day, who saw the bruises, they got into an argument. When her grandmother was only wanting her to leave to get away from the abuse. But Sydney wouldn't listen. Sydney went back on home, stayed in her room and cried feeling her grandmother didn't understand. She cried herself to sleep, until 2 hours later she heard her grandmother's voice and her mother's voice arguing. She heard her grandmother telling her mother, that all Sydney wanted was a mother. How ridiculous things were becoming. That if something wasn't going to be done, that she will have the police called and removed Sydney from the home if she had no other choice. She heard scuffling and jumped up running out the door only to see her own mother shove her grandma down a flight of stairs. In horror, she watched her grandmother fall and break her neck. Running down the stairs, she cried and begged, her grandma to wake up. She wouldn't. She was the only one who understood her, loved her... she lost all hope. Her mother only fled, leaving her daughter distraught... Sydney's mind snapped. She.. well to save for details. She hung herself in her room. She regretted it though. She wandered around aimlessly, ashamed, of her mistake, wished she would have just been stronger. Though even death to remain optmistic about things. Though she was scarred, but wanted to believe there was more to things. She than stumbled upon Seaside and decided to stay there since it was far off from where she grew up. Becoming a student at the college there, she now was trying to "relive" the life she didn't get to live in her memory of her grandmother. So basically now trying to live as a human, scarred and confused. "don't do what I did...." |
