two beings walked down the cracked sidewalk, the sun almost completely set behind the buildings. the streetlamps had just clicked on, all of them buzzing in unison. sure, all the apartments were new and fancy compared to the old style houses. sadly, they had nowhere nice to put all these new apartments. it was almost like being in some strange parallel universe where crappy homes were in the nice areas and vice versa.
hazel eyes looked around, a little bit of shame hidden behind them. he was from chicago, so he wasn't sure why the sight bothered him. maybe it was because he had always lived in the rich neighborhoods. he could see the door to his building just a few feet away. with his free hand, he pulled out his keys, readying himself to unlock the first door,
soon the door was in front of him, and with much ease and a flick of his wrist, the door was unlocked. the young man smiled warmly at the spirit next to him, still holding onto his hand. when that door was open, the brunette led the spirit down a very short hall and turned to the right. keys jingled as he unlocked the door to his apartment. there was a click as the lock turned and the door opened.
the living room had a faint glow to it thanks to the christmas lights he had hanging by the futon. they used up a lot of electricity, but the human couldn't find himself to care since his rich parents were the ones paying for the place as part of their deal. kirby kicked his shoes off, and gently released tristan's hand. "welcome to my humble abode. make yourself at home." the young man cooed as he made his way over to to the propped up futon, ploppiing down with a large sigh of content.
it felt good to be home.

love, taito yeayeayea so lie to me and tell me we'll make it through the night the entire walk hadn't been unpleasant, but it was rather quiet, tristan found. they had exchanged light banter a few times, but overall, the crow's thoughts had been mostly comprised of emptiness. he didn't want to ruin this night with kirby--he just wanted to enjoy the boy while he could.
when the apartments were in sight, a small smirk cracked on his lips. when he had been flying around as a crow before he'd settled in the town, these strange buildings had always seemed odd to him. they looked like a newly-hatched phoenix rising from the ashes. of course it was strange, but really, what wasn't odd in this town?
when they reached the door, tristan continued being led along until actually getting into the doorway. as soon as kirby's hand released his and the door closed, he couldn't help but feel playfulness bubbling up inside of him again. it was as if he'd been a dog on a leash, and his restraints were finally lifted.
tristan quickly made his way to the futon, grinning wide as he crawled to hover above the boy. a pallid hand cupped kirby's cheek, the thumb tracing over his gentle cheekbone, before he lowered himself to press his lips against the tanned ones, nearly purring in pleasure from the kiss. he tried to push away all the negative thoughts from before. after all, those thoughts themselves could have been their downfall if they continued plaguing the crow. so he'd toss them for now and come back to them if ever the time arose. for now, though, he wanted to busy himself with this cute body just inches from his own. ulla

kirby should have known that the spirit would be back to his usual game as soon as the door was closed. within seconds, tristan's body was hovering over his. similar to the day they had both met, except thankfully he was on a much more comfortable surface and in the privacy of his own home with AC to keep him nice and cool.
lips were pressed against his, like the spirit had been starving for this kiss. a warm hand was cupped on his cheek, which only caused his face to flare red. short arms slowly found their way around the spirits tattooed neck, gently tugging him closer. now that he was safe at home, kirby felt he could push all his anxiety aside. there was no one here to see them; no prying eyes that had the potential to gossip about it later.
he could finally let go. their lips danced together pleasantly. warmth spread through his body, from his head and then to his toes. lips pulled away from the spirit's gently kissing their way to his neck. once the young man felt he had found the perfect spot, teeth bit down on porcelain skin, gently sucking on it. the taste of salt was overwhelming, but kirby couldn't find himself to care. he was lost in the moment.

love, taito kirbs so bold so lie to me and tell me we'll make it through the night tristan could have easily lost himself right then, buried in the sweet kisses of this young boy, but he needed to keep control over the situation. he needed to... but it was growing increasingly difficult. it had been quite a while since he'd felt this comfortable around someone, and it was simply intoxicating.
when he felt the warm lips trailing down his neck, the crow instinctively stretched his neck and lowered his shoulder, giving the boy more room to work with. and as soon as teeth were felt on his skin, the man let out a gentle laugh. "repayment, is it?" he whispered, voice thickening again with the magical powers of excitement.
his hands returned to the boy's hair, tangling inside and working eagerly at his scalp as he lowered himself some, almost letting their torsos touch so the other wouldn't have to strain himself so much, and his eyes scanned over what he could see of the other's body. was this truly all his for the taking? from the way kirby was acting, it seemed like a definite yes, but he wanted to make sure this wouldn't be just some steamy makeout session... and if so, he really needed to try and keep a cool head. it would be so easy to let his natural carnal desires overwhelm him at this point, after all, and kirby's darker skin would compliment his own so well if a few articles of clothing were to be removed...
the crow licked his lips and let a hand trail down the boy's side, past his shirt and onto his thigh only to slide up again, feeling the gentle curves underneath the fabrics, before sliding under kirby's shirt and feeling the delicate skin underneath. his fingers traced the other's shape, lingering over where bones protruded and lean, growing muscles relaxed. ulla

it was still so hard to believe that all of this was happening. this has to be a dream, right? kirby had spent many years chasing after women, using them to get what he wanted and then leaving. now here he was wrapped up in a male; lips locked. what if this was karma's way of getting back at him? what if tristan really was just using him and planning on leaving him? these negative thoughts planted themselves into his mind, no matter how hard he tried to push them away.
when the spirit spoke it managed to take his mind off things for a moment. lips broke off from skin, hazel eyes admiring the work of art he had painted on that porcelain skin. he could already tell it was going to be a colorful one. "it's going to be a beautiful one." the young man cooed, a smile warming up his facial features. as soon as he felt the spirit's fingers tangled within his hair and their bodies almost touching, everything became real again. those seeds of doubt were beginning to blossom into ugly weeds that would soon consume his mind.
hands touched his human body, fingers tracing his skin. everywhere those fingers went, a trail of burning was left behind. desire bubbled inside him, but the inability to trust tristan was much too strong. the young man wanted to let the spirit in. he was afraid that if he didn't let him in that he would leave, but he couldn't help but be afraid that if he did let him in that there would still be the same outcome.
kirby threw his arms around that lithe frame, pulling the spirit down on top of him. the human wouldn't be able to look into those red and black eyes. not now. part of him couldn't help but feel ashamed. "i-i can't...i'm sorry. not now." the words barely made it out as a whisper. shame coated his voice as he found himself burying his face into tristan's shoulder.

love, taito awwws <3 so lie to me and tell me we'll make it through the night tristan felt an embarrassment wash over his body--but whether it was his own or the boy's, he couldn't tell. perhaps a little of both. but before he knew it, he was pressed against the young boy, and even though a lustful desire still twinged the air, kirby seemed to be struggling against it. it was probably all for the better, truthfully. if tristan was playing the "what am i?" game, then it would be bad to lose control of himself and possibly begin reverting into a more comfortable half-form rather than staying in his fully "human" one.
tristan tried to calm himself, swallowing back the frustration and softening his grip on the boy's head. he needed to be comfortable right now. comfort, comfort, comfort... not just a crow on the hunt.
"it's fine," he murmured back, nuzzling into the boy's hair. "i won't make you do anything you don't want to, little dove." he began gathering himself back together again and left a soft kiss on the other's head. instead, he contented himself in breathing in his scent and aura, feeling that unnerved energy flowing into him.
after a few moments, tristan pulled away, offering a gentle smile to the other before leaning against the futon, one leg curled on the seat and the other lazily propped up whichever way it landed. "thank you for having me over." he grinned brightly with a light chuckle. ulla
