ancient | minotaur | male | demisexual/homoromantic | beast of burden a p p e a r a n c e Asterion's human form is that of a tall, tanned, and lean-muscled young man. His eyes are a captivating gold, and his brown chest-length hair is tipped with a blood red color. A tattoo of a dragon runs down his left arm, curling around the limb in a tight embrace, and every tooth is pointed and razor-sharp, much like a shark. In his transitional stage, the spirit grows the horns of a bull, and his muscles begin bulking up considerably while he grows slightly taller. After transforming completely, the spirit finally takes on the full appearance of a minotaur. He grows in height again, and his lower body sprouts thick fur and takes on a bull's legs while his head morphs into a matching piece. His teeth are still sharp, yet they also grow and are jagged as they lay across his thin lips. His nails turn to thick claws, and a rope-like tail lashes behind him while he walks. Normally in this form, if he hasn't removed his clothing, it is ripped off to make room for his massive stature. p e r s o n a l i t y please include three positive traits and three negative traits. if you prefer a bulleted list, please elaborate. h i s t o r y Being the son of a spirit that many believe to be a god and a human that fell in love with and seduced him, Asterion has quite a chip on his shoulder. He was thrown into the middle of a labyrinth as a child and was not given proper attention from either of his parents (even though his mother tried and failed), and for food, every nine years, he was sent seven boys and seven girls from the world outside his home. Asterion wasn't certain how to handle being with these children at first, but once starvation loomed and all he had were the ones sent to him, they quickly became his sustenance. He does not remember the taste of his mother's milk and, frankly, he could care less about it now. Human meat is the only thing he craves, and he has no interest in anything else. Thankfully, those humans can tide him over for a number of months before he feels the need to feed again. When one of those children tried slay him, though, and plunged a sword through his chest, that foolish creature didn't think to check twice. Instead of coming back and slicing off the minotaur's head, he left Asterion there to rot, and eventually, the creature healed. He waited for a year in there until he realized that there were no humans entering his maze to be fed to him. Feeling betrayed, Asterion wandered for another two years until finally finding his way out and taking on a human form to hide his identity. From there, he lashed out at the locals, devouring them until his hunger was satiated, but it was too late: the humans had devised a plan to trap him again, even though they did not realize his true identity. The humans captured and tortured him to the brink of death and then chained his entire body to a magic-infused stone no larger than one of his legs. The magic not only kept him chained there, but also made him stay in his human form, unable to shift no matter how hard he willed it. So he stayed in this same place, once again trapped and watching as the world moved on without him. Occasionally, there would be people who would try to help him, and each time, his hope of escape would rise, and each time, they would fail. Once they apologized to him, he would lunge as far as the chains would allow to kill and devour his would-be savior until another came along to try. "let's have a relatable lyric or quote go here." |
