76 | spirit (fire/nature) | male | heterosexual | performer a p p e a r a n c e In his human form, vince is commonly seen donning a top hat, a blue silk shirt, and a pin striped vest. When it gets a little chilly he'll usually put on his trusty ole trench coat. He's got shaggy, cutely mussed blonde hair that he likes to call 'wind tossed' and a killer smile to boot. His eyes are slate gray and he stands at 6'2". When he begins to show more of who he truly is, his semi-human form, Vince's limbs are usually covered in red-orange flame. When, if, he reveals his true form he's simply a tiny man who is covered with flames. A fiery silhouette, if you will. He's only about a foot tall, but he burns as bright as any star. p e r s o n a l i t y First thing's first, Vinny seems a little dumb. You see, he's a very innocent and naïve being who recently left his fire place. He's been trying his best to learn about the way things work, but he relates better with children than adults. He's trying to get a grip on these things called 'emotions', though the only one he really wants to feel is love. He hates it when his face leaks, by God. Vin is a very friendly and outgoing fellow who is not one to judge. He tends to be very open minded. Those who are emotional have the ability to influence his very sensitive soul. He's perhaps too kind for his own good. He would never lie, as he's been told that lying hurts people, and he's very trustworthy and reliable. Give him a task and he'll be sure to go do it straightaway! He would never expect someone to do him wrong or have ill intent, so he remains faultlessly obedient. The blonde is incredibly loyal and incredibly forgiving. As you can probably tell, this guy's primary downfall is his trusting nature and his sensitivity. When people give him strange looks he feels incredibly out of place, which has led to him being insecure and a little shy. The only people he can really approach are the children, who he loves very dearly. He's also a little too curious for his own good, having been told that he has 'no filter'. He's brutally honest and doesn't really understand why that hurts people. He's also a little pig-headed and immature, acting like a child himself, even in his 'old' age. h i s t o r y Vincent started as a tiny flame in a happy couple's home in Seaside 76 years ago. He might not have become much other than a fire had he not been brought to life by the kind words they spoke to him, their passion for a child that the wife could not bear. They said his name would be Vincent, Vincent Alan Clouse. Years passed as he kept their home warm, gathering all the strength he could. How he yearned to be like the humans, the son they had never had! It took quite a while for him to manage to form even the slightest bit of a 'body', though once he did he was teetering around his little fire place. The couple eventually moved as an effort to make a bigger name for themselves, leaving Vince to keep the house safe. A year passed, the house was sold. By this point in time Vincent could successfully lounge in the fire place, though his body wasn't all that big. He made sure to hide whenever someone came inside, though he waited patiently for a fire to be stoked. When that day finally came he worked up the nerve to leave the house, taking the appearance of the man who lived there. It was safe to say that he hadn't the slightest idea as to how to function like a normal human, so he sought out to find a mentor, someone like him. It was easier said than done, given how he wasn't sure how to say most words. He wasn't sure how to act in the presence of humans, either. Lucikly someone noticed his odd behavior and took them into their home, which he was more than willing to heat for them. The owner of the home was a very kindly wind spirit who taught him all there was to know about fitting in with the humans, though the thing that fascinated him the most was the love from which he was born. He still lives with this spirit and has taken up showing magic tricks to the kids, as they seem to love it. Meanwhile he'd really like to experience this funny little thing called love... and better his speaking. "sometimes memories are all you've got." |
