JESUS DONT WANT ME ---for a sunbeam the day was slowly transitioning to night. there was something so daunting about these woods. the way sound almost seemed lost, maybe even smothered by all the trees. the air was thick with moisture, the temperature rather warm that day. another one of the reasons to hate summer. thick, black wool only managed to absorb all the sunlight, sucking in moisture like a sponge. it was almost too much to bear.the black sheep grazed around lazily, though keeping all her senses alert. a feeling of uneasiness trickled inside of her. there was always something so ominous about these woods. it was enough to usually keep her out, or at least on the very edge, but today she was feeling a little adventurous. as soon as the sun set and darkness settled in, she would be completely camouflaged. there would be no reason to worry about the dangers lurking in the trees.white eyes shot open, as she could have sworn she heard a twig snap in the distance. spirits were aplenty in this forest. most of them seeking shelter and protection from the guardian. her large head was lifted from the grass, white eyes gazing off into the trees. noël shifted to her human form effortlessly, a black, flowing chiffon dress clinging to her frail body. i know you're out there. the words echoed in her mind. these were his woods after all.

BEHEMOTH You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS 000 NOTES good luck! | He wasn't really trying to hide per se. It was more like he was simply watching out for the spirit who had entered his forest. Winter had always set him a bit on edge, she was lovely yes but her season brought deep sleeping to his forest which wasn't really his forte.
Which is why he was so surprised knowing she'd ventured into his forest. Usually she avoided this area. With a small smile he watched her from the trees, grazing as though she really were a simple sheep. He hummed to himself when she finally noticed him however, and reveled in the breeze that made the trees sing.
What on Earth was she doing all the way out here?
Deciding it would be best to find out himself, the large fawn circled around her once, twice, and then stepped out behind her. He was imposing sure, but only as imposing as he was old. He held an air of knowledge around him, he knew his forest well.
"To what do I owe this pleasure Noel?"

JESUS DONT WANT ME ---for a sunbeam a deep voice vibrated through the trees from behind her. the young woman whipped around. there he was. standing before her like an ancient oak. large, white eyes watched him carefully. stories had been told about this spirit stealing people away. despite being a spirit and having nothing to worry about herself, she still couldn't help but feel a little on edge. muscles loosened as she slowly allowed herself to relax. a frail hand tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear."you aren't very good at sneaking around." the spirit responded, avoiding the question as best she could. to be completely honest, there was no real reason she came to the forest, except to just be here. it was almost as if the trees had been calling out to her, longing for her to return. like their branches longed for her ice cold touch. noël had to admit she wasn't expecting to be stalked like some sort of prey. the guardian of the forest was prone to stalking stray humans, she thought. so what did he want?a warm breeze shifted the branches above her head. the dress that draped to her feet billowed gracefully. the silence was a deafening ringing in her ear. it would have been easy to believe that these two were the only ones on this planet; that these woods stretched on for thousands of miles. the thought was somewhat horrifying.
